About the Clinician
Alice Cheng, BCBA, M.S
Founder, Canvas ABA Therapy
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with 5 years of experience as a BCBA and nearly 10 years of experience in the ABA field working with children and families. I hold a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Child Development. I chose ABA because I believe early intervention lays the foundation for meaningful, long-term progress in a child’s development.
I have worked in both large organizations and in home and clinic settings across Texas and North Carolina. My experience includes leadership, supervision, mentoring, Telehealth support, and parent training.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting children with a wide range of needs, including challenging behaviors, while working closely with families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I provide bilingual services in English and Chinese to help families feel understood and supported.
What matters most to me is building strong, trusting relationships with families and creating therapy that feels natural, supportive, and meaningful in everyday life. I use individualized, play-based strategies to help children build communication, behavior, and independence skills in a way that fits who they are. Every child is unique, and I believe support should reflect that.
