Service Description

We provide individualized parent coaching designed to help families understand their child’s behavior and confidently apply effective, evidence-based strategies in daily life. Sessions are highly personalized and focused on creating practical, sustainable changes within your natural routines. Parent coaching includes: 🔹 Understanding & Managing Challenging Behaviors We help identify the reasons behind behaviors (e.g., tantrums, aggression, transitions, noncompliance) and teach proactive strategies, prevention techniques, and consistent responses to reduce them. 🔹 Functional Communication Training (FCT) We support the development of functional communication skills (e.g., requesting, expressing needs, reducing frustration) using developmentally appropriate methods such as verbal language, visuals, or gestures. 🔹 Social & Play Skills We guide parents in building foundational social skills such as joint attention, turn-taking, engagement, and play skills through natural, play-based interactions. 🔹 Daily Living & Self-Help Skills We support independence in routines such as toileting, dressing, mealtime, transitions, and following daily schedules. 🔹 Parent Training & Hands-On Coaching Sessions include modeling, live coaching, and real-time feedback so parents can confidently implement strategies during everyday activities. 🔹 Individualized Plans & Ongoing Support Strategies are tailored to your child’s needs, with ongoing adjustments based on progress and family priorities. Services: -Virtual parent consultation offers flexibility for your schedule. -Bilingual (Chinese) services are available to support effective communication. -In person parent coaching ( Bellevue) We are in-network with Premera Blue Cross and are currently working toward accepting Regence BlueShield. We also accept private pay/self pay and can provide superbills for out-of-network insurance reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan.
